I thought a good way to get working on BNs would be to work on a specific task. When I first started out, Owen Woodberry suggested the following:
Determine the likelihood of habitat suitability in a location for some threatened species. Choose any species and location and make sure to be clear about your assumptions, etc.
I will upload a model to the repository sometime next week.
