Melbourne Museum explores life in Victoria, from our natural environment to our culture and history. Located in Carlton Gardens, opposite the historic Royal Exhibition Building, the award-winning Melbourne Museum houses a permanent collection in eight galleries, including one just for children. Highlights include a complete skeleton of a blue whale, the Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, a living rainforest, the racehorse Phar Lap and an IMAX theatre on site. Major international exhibitions are presented in the Touring Hall.

A group will meet at the Museum on Friday at 12pm. Interest of joining must be registered on the registration page. Adult $12, concessions & children free

National Gallery of Victoria houses an extensive collection from Europe, Asia, America and Oceania. The NGV Collection comprises more than 68,000 artworks spanning thousands of years, from the art of ancient civilisations right up to contemporary art, reflecting a multitude of different disciplines, periods, styles and inspirations. The NGV Collection really is great, it’s yours and it’s free!

A group will meet at the NGV on Friday at 3pm. Interest of joining must be registered on the registration page. General entry is free.
