The next Annual Conference of the Australasian Bayesian Network 
Modelling Society (ABNMS2014) is getting closer.

This email is to let you know of the Call for Abstracts which opens 
on 29th August.

Details about the Call for Abstracts and the Conference are available

You can submit you Abstract via the EasyChair submission page. It's 
an easy process to sign up on EasyChair if you don't already have a login.

For this event, ABNMS is offering 4 travel grants to attend the 
Tutorials and Conference. Awards will be for $250 to $500 to 
contribute to the costs of travel to and from the conference. Three 
Student Grants will be awarded and one 2014 Travel Grant for any 
person who attended the ABNMS pre-conference tutorials in 2013 in 
Hobart, Tasmania and will present in 2014.

This sixth event in  being held in Rotorua, New Zealand, takes our 
Conference beyond its previous Australia-based venues into its wider, 
Australasian realm. We hope to see you in Rotorua.

Call for Abstracts and Participation

Sixth Annual Conference of the Australasian Bayesian Network 
Modelling Society (ABNMS2014)
November 24 - 25, 2014: Pre-Conference Tutorials
November 26 - 27, 2014: Conference
Rotorua, New Zealand

The organising committee for ABNMS2014 is pleased to invite 
submission of abstracts for presentations and posters.

Abstracts are invited from all fields. Past presentations have 
covered a wide range of disciplines including environmental 
management, engineering, law, infrastructure and medicine, and a 
variety of technical aspects on the method of development, data 
learning, linking GIS and BNs expert elicitation approaches, and 
lessons learnt from particular BN projects.

Suggested themes for ABMS2014 are Technical, Environment management, 
Risk, Expert Elicitation, Software, and Infrastructure.

Key Dates
Call for abstracts:29th August 2014
Abstract submission deadline:30th September 2014
Decision on abstracts:14th October 2014
Deadline for conference registration (including pre-conference 
tutorials): 24th October 2014

Abstracts for ABNMS2014 should be no longer than 300 words. Please 
submit your abstracts via https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=abnms2014

Include the title of your presentation, authors, affiliations, 
contact details for the corresponding author and abstract. Please 
also state whether your submission is for a presentation or a poster. 
The abstract should be self-contained and explicit, covering the 
aims, methods, results and main conclusions of the work. The abstract 
should not contain figures, tables or references.
